Eden Valley Escapes is a family-run smallholding set in 18 acres of fields, gardens, and woodland. Tucked away in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside in a secluded valley full of wildlife.

Eden Valley Escapes is perfect for a relaxing break in the converted barns which are run as a successful self-catering holiday business by the Fawcett family.

As well as running the cottages, the Fawcett’s rear Australian lowline cattle, Texel and Coloured Ryeland sheep, OSB pigs, chickens and ducks whilst also growing their own fruit and vegetables to provide as much of their own homegrown food as possible.

Thinking of starting to keep animals or growing your own fruit and vegetables?  Staying on the smallholding will provide a great opportunity to see what's involved whilst still enjoying the benefits of great accommodation and throwing in a relaxing break at the same time.

The Fawcett’s are always there to offer friendly advice and insights from their experience, having started from scratch on the smallholding 20 years ago.

Converted from traditional stone barns the cottages have a delightful setting in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Eden Valley . Enjoying a remote location with lovely uninterrupted views over the Pennines, but still close to the many attractions found in this beautiful part of Cumbria, each cottage provides an ideal base for those wanting a quality holiday or break in a quiet, yet convenient location, and is also ideal for walking, birdwatching, cycling, or romantic breaks for couples.
